Planning Your Amalfi Coast Wedding

WHAT TO KEEP IN MIND:

LOGISTICS

Due to the landscape, wedding logistics can be challenging. Hiring a wedding planner familiar with the area is essential (hello, that's us!). Transportation and venue access are limited, requiring experienced porterage staff to hand-carry items like flowers, furniture, and sound systems. Narrow streets and limited parking can make guest transportation tricky, especially with potential traffic delays - your planner's experience in coordinating these challenging logistics will be key here.

PRICES

The Amalfi Coast is one of Italy's most expensive wedding destinations. A budget that stretches further elsewhere can be conservative here. This applies to everything - venue hire prices, services, wedding menus, guest accommodation and more.

WEDDING BUDGET

For a 2-3 day high-end wedding on the Amalfi Coast, we recommend a minimum budget of €200,000 - €250,000.

GUEST NUMBERS

Given the average venue capacities, the ideal guest count is 40-60. Larger weddings (80-100+ guests) significantly limit venue options. The lower your guest number the more choice of wedding venues you'll have.

CROWDS

The Amalfi Coast is popular for its views, boat rides, and beaches, making it crowded from June to early October. Early reservations for dinner, accommodation, and wedding planning are crucial, especially for multi-day and multi-venue events.

CURFEW

Due to proximity to water and nearby hotels, there is a strict curfew starting at 11 PM or midnight. Some venues allow low-volume background music for an extra hour or two past curfew, but it is not a area-wide rule. For those wanting to continue the celebration, we recommend moving the afterparty to a nearby club.

• Naples Airport: A great excuse to spend a few days in Naples, enjoying its famous pizza and charming streets and the coast of Sorrento before heading to the Amalfi Coast.
